Harbour Fishing

Coins 0 Hold 0 / 8 Harbour 0 / 3

About this game

Harbour Fishing is a free top-down fishing game for kids ages 6-8. You start with a small wooden boat tied up at a tiny island harbour. Sail out onto bright blue water, find a dark patch where a shoal is swimming, and your net fills by itself while you stay over it.

When the hold is full you sail home and unload, and the fish turn into coins. Coins buy a faster engine, a wider net, a bigger hold and a better harbour - and a faster boat reaches the deeper water further out, where the rarer, more valuable fish live. The little arrow at the bottom of the screen always points back to the harbour, so nobody gets lost at sea.

There is no fuel, no timer and no way to lose: the only limit is how much your hold can carry. Like every Baboo game it runs in the browser with no ads, no accounts and no chat, and it suits children who enjoy exploring, collecting and slowly upgrading things.

How to play

  1. Drag your finger or mouse on the water to steer the boat, or use the arrow keys.
  2. Sail into a dark patch of water - that is a shoal, and your net fills while you stay over it.
  3. Use the up/down net button to choose surface water or deep water for different fish.
  4. When the hold is full, follow the small arrow at the bottom back to the harbour.
  5. Sail inside the dashed ring to unload your catch and turn it into coins.
  6. Buy upgrades while you are docked, then head further out for rarer fish.
