About this game
Tic Tac Toe is a free classic strategy game for kids ages 6-8. Your child plays X on a friendly 3 by 3 board against a built-in computer opponent, aiming to line up three marks in a row, column or diagonal.
The opponent plays a fair but readable game: it takes a winning move when it sees one, blocks obvious threats and otherwise favours the centre and corners. A running scoreboard counts wins, draws and losses across rounds, and one tap starts a fresh board.
The game loads instantly in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, with no ads, accounts or chat. It is a calm way for kids to discover planning ahead, spotting threats and thinking one move beyond their own turn.
How to play
- Tap any empty cell to place your X.
- Watch the computer answer with an O, then plan your next move.
- Try to get three X marks in a row while blocking the O line.
- Press New round to play again - the scoreboard keeps the tally.
- Use Reset score whenever you want a completely fresh start.
